Youth & Outreach Pastor
Michael DeWoody
A Texas native, Michael was born and raised in the heart of the Lone Star State. In 2021, Michael and his family moved to Brazoria County, where they began attending Cornerstone Church. It was during this time that Michael experienced a life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ, surrendering his life fully to the Lord. With unwavering faith and trust in God's plan, Michael took a leap of faith and left his job behind, stepping into the unknown. Little did he know that this decision would lead him on an incredible journey of service and devotion.
In 2022, Michael embraced a new opportunity at Angleton Christian School as the junior high Bible teacher. It was here that he discovered his true passion for leading youth to Christ and fostering an environment of fellowship. Michael’s dedication and genuine care for his students made a profound impact on their lives. After two years of shaping young minds at the school, Michael left his teaching position and assumed the roles of youth and outreach pastor. His primary goal is to connect as many people as possible to Christ and share the love and fellowship that he had experienced firsthand.
Michael and his wife, Megan, have been blessed with four beautiful children: Macy, Mox, Mia, and Memphis. As a family, they embody the values of faith, love, and service.
